Chimney Rock Campground offers a relaxed and authentic Decorah camping experience. We also offer tubing, kayaking, or canoeing river trips at your convince. It’s easy to get your family or friends out on the waters of the Upper Iowa River.

We have a range of camping options including Rustic Amish-Built Glamping Cabins, Caravan Wagons, Electric RV Sites, and BYOTent Campsites surrounded by natural beauty. We stayed in cabin 3 for three nights and had plenty of room and a beautiful view of the valley. Short walk to the river. Lots of wildlife to enjoy and listen to also. The workers were very accommodating and friendly! We kayaked on the river and it was an easy exit point out at the campground. Entrance points were also not too far away and easy to enter. We are already planning next years trip!

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful campground on the river. The Staff is very kind and pleasant. Will stay here again.
